On World Water Day, MGROW Board Members and representatives from the Friends of the Maple and Friends of the Looking Glass River came together to learn how to better serve the people and water resources of the Middle Grand River Watershed. We would like to thank River Network, Eaton Conservation District and the Capital Region Community Foundation for working with us to make this day long retreat possible.
What did we learn?
We have come a long way in a short period of time, but there is still much work to be done to become a successful and sustainable organization. The retreat was a great opportunity for team building. The creative juices are flowing! We are excited to take the skills gained at the retreat, and use them to develop a strategic plan in the coming year. Unity in purpose, goes a long way to getting things done!
