Approaching Dimondale Rapids

Approaching Dimondale Rapids

When the Dimondale Dam was removed, a rapids was created for recreation paddling.  However, at low water levels it can be very rocky and shallow.  At high water levels it can be quite turbulent.  Scouting the rapids before running is highly encouraged.  If in doubt, portage river right.
